IT Engineer II
OVERVIEW Support all information technology needs for a warehouse space supporting fulfillment for a rapidly-growing e-commerce company. The IT Team is focused on being a business accelerator and not just a technology caretaker. A background of systems and network support is required, as well as a personable and empathetic approach to IT Support. Prior experience working in Supply Chain Operation environment and Warehouse Management Systems is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate on installation and support of network infrastructure Manage patching and backup needs for server and PC endpoints Manage software and hardware needs for warehouse end users, security building access and general warehouse equipment. Train on and provide peripheral support for WMS and WCS platforms Support servers, computers, scan guns, and label printers Security and threat onsite protection with end user training Configure and maintain computer systems in a PC and Mac in a mixed OS environment Provision and maintain local and SaaS-based user accounts, including Google Apps for Work, OKTA, Box for Business and other business specific platforms Troubleshoot issues on both PC and Mac in addition to local and cloud apps Setup and test hardware and peripherals for new user station setups Manage user accounts and configuration and hardware support of all mobile devices in an Enterprise MDM/EMM environment Manage IT Ticketing system queues as well as End User Service Portal Manage IT inventory and purchasing in addition to enterprise-wide asset tracking Provide general IT ticket support outside of warehouse duties REQUIREMENTS:
Personable and friendly demeanor is a must Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential Must have a highly detail-oriented and organized approach Must be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently Experienced PC and Windows Server troubleshooting skill set is necessary Troubleshooting skills to resolve printing and computer peripheral issues is a need Must be flexible with schedule and willing to work off hours when necessary Being a motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic team player is key PREFERRED:
Experience supporting WMS and WCS platforms is helpful Experience supporting an Enterprise Google Apps environment is helpful Knowledge of general SSO platform workflow is helpful Systems and Network Engineering certifications are optional EDUCATION
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Technology-related field preferred Prior IT Engineer experience in a warehouse operations is a big plus
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
